U for USA

Few weeks ago, I saw a video on Youtube which proved that when asked the question, "List the countries whose name starts with a U?", no American would name his/her own country.

I asked a few and to my surprise (or rather lack of it), it turned out to be true!

Here is one of them:
"Uruguay"
me: "Yes"
"Ukraine"
me: "well next"
"Ugoslavia"
me: "Huh no, that starts with a Y" [Yugoslavia disintegrated in 2003]
"mmm... I can't think of any more"
me: "How about this?"
"This?"
me: "Yes, this Country"
"Ohh.. United States!!"
